Top 10 Amitabh Bachchan Performances Pre Millenium

This is an extremely personal list. I think KAALA PATTHAR will be higher on the list. Also LAAWARIS is due for a re-watch. These sorts of lists are always hard to make as there are just SO many movies…..

1) ANAND (1971): This easily ranks as one of Amitabh Bachchans most unassuming performances to date. Completely natural to the core, Amitabh held his own against a Superstar like Rajesh Khanna in a tailor-made, leading role and left a lasting impression as the silent, soulful and searing Dr. Bhaskar Bannerjee aka Babu Moshai.

  1. Superb list Praz, In no particular order all are my favorites too .. However i would personally like to add “Bemisaal” in top ten .. Bemisaal is most underrated bachchan and Hrishida movie. But again bachchan gave us loads of milestones which is impossible to include in list of 10 only.

    Right now i am researching on Sholey, May be in next 10 – 15 days, i will complete my research, This post will include one surprise element. I am eager to publish it soon.

  2. first of all,thanks sir to bring great topic on amitabh.amitabh is the millenium star of bollywood.in my opinion u forgot the performance of in film khuda gawah.i saw some where that film sholay did over 4 arab nett money.in opinion amitabh top ten performace are
