Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan had hyped KITES for a long time, however throughout the whole process they’d failed to convince me. Yakuza komal nahata says raavan is 100 crore budget?
“Raavan
This is Mani Ratnam’s and Abhishek Bachchan’s costliest film so far, crossing the Rs 100 crore figure. If Raajneeti is today’s Mahabharata, Raavan is the Ramayan, both winners ultimately. You never know with Mani Ratnam whose last film Guru was a slow starter but went on to be a success. In the case of Raavan, with a Tamil version also ready and dubbed Telugu prints on release, a chunk of the recovery is slated to come from the South itself. So it isn’t as if the onus of bringing back much more than Rs 100 crore rests on the shoulders of the Hindi Raavan alone.”
how much is the hindi version costing? how much will that need to be a clean hit?
