Farhan Akhtar made a fantastic debut with DIL CHAHTA HAI. However his consequential directional ventures have been partially successful be it LAKSHYA or DON. However his films as an actor have struck a real chord with me be it ROCK ON or LUCK BY CHANCE.
His next release KARTHIK CALLING KARTHIK intrigued me right away, whether it be the title, concept or the casting. The film lives up to it’s expectations as a complex, tightly-woven thriller with some compelling performances and a arresting pace.
